On Saturday May 11th 2013, ISSV youth group, supervised by adults, went on a field trip to Oxnard for an eventful soup kitchen event at the Oxnard Rescue Mission. The amazing team worked very well together to prepare, chop, mix and bake a fulfilling 3 course meal of baked chicken, potato wedges, salad and rice for over 100 poor and needy people. It was a big task where everyone put in their best efforts, kept safe and careful and created a delicious dinner.
